Working alone can be a fairly hard thing for a full time existence. When you think about it, you spend the first years of life amongst peers, firstly at playgroup or kindergarten. Then comes the years of school from nursery through to upper 6th. After those gloriously happy days come the exciting ones at university – with just a few more challenges thrown in for good measure! it is good to work alongside other folk. You get to know your boundaries in terms of tolerance, yours and that of others. You can also bounce ideas of each other an gain confidence in arguing your corner. Knowing how to discuss points, when to back down, when to push home a point, are all valuable lessons for later when you’re running your own show with just you and the customer fighting it out! Everyone needs to learn how to work well in a busy world to get that confidence to strike out on their own.
